Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is a standard laboratory reconstitution supply used in preclinical and research settings for the preparation of lyophilized research compounds. The bacteriostatic preservative enables multi-use draws from a single vial across extended research protocols.
